Conor and Andrew compete at state

2008 Banquet
Mark your calendar for Thursday, November 13 for the 2008 Boys and Girls Cross Country Banquet. The location will be St. Augustin Parish Hall. Doors will open at 5:30p.m., with dinner at 6:00. The Awards will begin at 6:45. (You do not have to purchase a dinner to attend the Awards presentation.) The cost of each dinner is $12, payable to Roosevelt High School. Questions? The room we will be using for the banquet is in use until 4:00. We will need lots of help to have to room ready to go by 5:30!! Please volunteer to help.

State meet info
Congratulations to your team and/or individuals on qualifying for the 2008 Cross Country
State Championships. The Meet will be held at the Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge on Saturday, November 1.
The course is located north of Fort Dodge on Highway P56 (formerly 413; an extension of 15th street), approximately two miles north of the Fort Dodge Airport and Harlan Rogers Park.

Cross country landscaping
With the threat of freezing temperatures last night, the Boys Cross Country team decided to protect the trees and lawns at a number of Girls Cross Country houses. Using toilet paper and newspapers the trees and grass was protected from freezing throughout the night. Thanks guys!!
