Great first meet everyone. Thank you parents for coming out and supporting your runners. It really helps when you hear your name being yelled out with a half mile to go. I hope you enjoyed the meet. Here is what is going on this week.

MEET INFORMATION 41st BOBCAT CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL
Date: Thurs., September 11, 2014
Location: Marshalltown Community College 3700 South Center Street (just off Highway 30)
Time: 4:00 Middle School Girls 4:15 Middle School Boys
Races Start at 4:30 9-10 Girls, 9-10 Boys, JV Girls, JV Boys, Var Girls, Var Boys
There are no individual times for races. They will start the next race when ready.
There will be a bus for transportation. Dismissed at 2 PM Bus Leaves at 2:30PM
We usually do not run athletes in the 9/10 races. Ask your athlete if we change our minds.
Athletes and Parents WEDNESDAY is the last day to order a pullover polo. If you are interested see the last email and get your check to Isabel who is doing the ordering. These are optional items.
Remember to SAVE the DATE September 20th our home meet at Iowa State’s cross country course. Details on the website. Make sure you ask for that day off from work. I know that band members may have to march in the Beaverdale Parade that day.
ATHLETES IN THE NEWS Sarah Voss, Hannah Neary and Dave Roney all did a great job racing in the HyVee Triathlon last weekend. Congrats to all three of them.
Welcome: We would like to welcome Ignacia (Nachi) Gacitúa who is a Roosevelt exchange student from Chile. She is a senior and will be racing soon. Please welcome her and make her feel welcome.
